>>  Desktop Computers for Visitors  <<

- Desktop computers are running an English version of MS Windows XP Professional.
- You can use the Guest account to logon the Windows.
- Most of the computers have the following softwares installed:
	. MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ...)
	. HWP 2002 SE (or) HWP 2004
	. Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0)
	. GSview 4.4  +  Ghostscript 8.11
	. Winzip 8.1
	. SSH Win Client 3.1
	. SmartFTP 1.0
	. XManager 1.3.9
    * If you need any (non-commercial) softwares not installed,
      write the list to the application form.
- If you want to use Linux environments, you have to open your account.
    * We have a Linux box:
	. Debian GNU/Linux Sarge / kernel-2.6.8
	. Pentium IV 1.4GHz / PC800 RDRAM 512Mb

- You can retrieve your e-mails from external servers, and
  send mails using a SMTP server at the POSTECH.
